The IFCE Postgraduate Program in Environmental Technology and Management (PGTGA) offers master's degree courses with a concentration in Environmental Management and Sanitation. With activities on the Fortaleza campus (Av. Treze de Maio, 2081 - Benfica), it also has the structure and faculty of other IFCE campuses. It trains professionals to work in an interdisciplinary manner to solve problems and challenges in the environmental area. It covers topics ranging from the use of natural resources, through production processes, their effluents and waste, to the post-consumer disposal of their products. The target audience is graduates of undergraduate, bachelor's or technology courses, meeting the multidisciplinary vision of professionals with diverse backgrounds.

The Master's Degree in Environmental Technology and Management (PGTGA) was created in 2007. Until 2013, the program had three lines of research, namely: Environmental Management Instruments; Environmental Quality Monitoring and Control; and Treatment and Reuse of Effluents and Waste. In the 2014 selection process, it began to offer another line of research: Hydrology. As of 2021, the Program will have four (4) lines of research - Environmental Management Instruments, Geotechnics, Waste and Sustainable Materials, Environmental Monitoring Systems, and Environmental Treatment Systems.

The course lasts 24 months, with a maximum period of up to 30 months for the dissertation defense. The student must complete a total of 24 credits in subjects and 6 credits in the dissertation.
