Student body

The student must complete a total of 24 credits in subjects with approval and 6 credits in dissertation;
Passing the English language proficiency exam;
Submit at least one article in a national or international scientific journal recommended as qualis A (A1-A4) in the area of Engineering 1 of CAPES;
Approval in the qualification and defense of the dissertation.

Note:: The course lasts 24 months, with a maximum period of up to 30 months to defend the dissertation.

The student holding the Dissertation must open a request in SEI IFCE, in the external member profile.

And you must attach separately to the process:

Dissertation (Catalog Card Generator)
Dissertation Defense Minutes;
Library Clearance Receipt (issued by the Library in person or online in the user profile (click here)
Authorization Term to Make Final Work Available in the IFCE Institutional Repository (click here);
Advisor agreement statement;
Certification of trustworthiness statement;
Statement of authorization for disclosure on the internet PGTGA.

Closes (Library)

Issuance and attachment of the Dissertation Validation Declaration to the respective SEI Process.

Only at this stage is it possible to request a certificate of course completion.

Starts (Protocol/SEI IFCE)

The student holding the right to a Diploma must open a request in SEI IFCE, in the external member profile.

And you must attach to the process:

Identity Document or National Foreigner's Card/RNE (for foreigners)
Birth or marriage certificate (ONLY if there is a discrepancy in accentuation and/or cedilla between your ID and the name on the Certificate)
Individual Taxpayer Registry (CPF)
Proof of military service discharge (men between 19 and 45 years old)
Voter ID
Proof of electoral discharge
Statement of validation of dissertation submission issued by IFCE Library - CampusFortaleza
Certificate or Proof of Proficiency Exam in a foreign language, in accordance with the regulations of the Postgraduate program.

Closes (Secretariat)

Delivery of the Diploma to the applicant at the Postgraduate Office and attachment of the signed Delivery Receipt to the respective SEI Process.

For officialization, we ask that you send:

Completed form for the composition of the PGTGA master's degree judging committee and Request signed by the candidate and the supervisor (model forms available for Defense and Qualification Exam);
Completed form for registration of external teachers to PGTGA (model available in Documents) if they are not registered in the program;
A copy of the work (Dissertation or Project in the case of qualification in pdf);
Document proving proficiency for defense request (if it was carried out at IFCE, it is not necessary) just inform;
Document proving submission of an article to a journal with Qualis at least B2 in the area of Engineering I.
The student must have completed all necessary credits and taken a proficiency and qualification exam with approval to schedule the Defense.
Formalization must be carried out via SEI by the advisor or by email to the PGTGA Coordination.

It must be carried out through the virtual platform Google Meet and scheduled by the advisor with his/her institutional email; he/she must send the link to the participants; it is recommended to schedule a test prior to the defense date to check if everyone is connecting without problems.
The invitation with the link must also be sent to the PGTGA Coordination email, which will be included in the program's events calendar on its virtual page, in order to ensure that it is being held publicly, so that those who wish to can access and watch it.
We ask that members of the board who are not registered with the IFCE SEI register as external users in order to sign the minutes.
